Elizabeth, People today at work say they can see her gaining back weight. When she goes for doctors appointments we no longer get status reports of weight loss. What is also kind of funny is we work at a medical center in wilmington so we see the effects first hand. I am not giving up on her! See Ya, Susan

When she gets ill and has to go to the hospital, (most posties who fall off the wagon ,so to speak might and can end up in the hospital, maybe that is when the light bulb will go off in your friends head). I work with a bunch of people at work who have had surgery and are eating foods that are bad for them-- all mention that only 2 of us , out of a dozen here where i work are sticking to a gbp diet, and all the rest wonder why they have stopped losing the weight. they have to learn for themselves!

Charles, She is very stubborn! During the first 6 months of her recovery she was considered malnutritioned because she couldn't swallow. She lost her gal bladder, she had an ulcer, she had the baloon put in her esoph. to stretch it so she could swallow...the docs called her family to christiana 3 times in the beginning and they told them to prepare for the worst!! So I really can't understand how she could go through all of that just to fall off the wagon, it boggles my mind!! And as I was saying in another post we work at a medical center in wilmington and we have about 10 patients who have had WLS so we see things first hand!! Thank you, Susan
