Had a great time last night!

Just wanted to thank everyone who came to Brett's going away party last night, you all made it such a great night. I had a really good time. Let's not wait for someone to go away before we get together like that again ( outside of a support meeting that is lol ) All the women looked fabulous, the guys handsome! Oooooo and the girls from the office ( you know who you are you lurkers lol ) were totally entertaining. I love nothing more than happy people having a good time. I went with Carla and Tammy AKA Vampira and the hoochie mama to dinner at Rey Azteca in Fox Run on the way home. GOOOD call Tammy! Those super nachos were yum yuuum. Carlas chili.....well...it was a bit....flat? LOL Loved meeting Brett's parents, aren't they just the best?? Was thrilled Dr. Irgau was there too. lol yeah yeah, so I think he's a cutie. Man gave me my life back! Kathy came...minus baby Amber of course..she'd have stolen the show for sure if she were there. Mama is looking good, new baby girls must agree with her. Karen was there lookin hot too with the BEST pony tail! Debbie has turned into the tiniest little thing I have ever seen. lol soon they are gonna start asking her for ID when she goes out. Dianne is looking great too as is Joe...of course he is mostly made up of pure ornery Elissa, Tina, Shay and Valerie kept me laughing the whole time. LOL that cutie guy at the end of the bar must have though we were for sure. Oh and is it just me or do you all think that Charlie and Elissa are the perfect pair. Charlie definitely gets a medal for being a good sport lol. Sorry Nicki, Rob, Sandy and Ken couldn't make it, they were definitely missed. Well, here's wishin' our boy Brett a safe trip and a happy new life on the golf course. Hope his new patients grow to love and appreciate him as much as we do. Linda

Happy hour turned into 3 hours+ of fun and laughter. Charlie & I had a good time. 1st time I've been in a bar where I was actually comfortable. Course I always have fun. No booze either. Don't need booze to smile, laugh and be happy. Hey Rob, I asked the bartender to make me a Virgin Sugar free drink. He concocted a strawberry, apple pineapple smoothie that was wonderful. Amazing what he came up with when I asked and didn't even charge me for it. MMMMM How nice not to come out NOT smelling like an ashtray too. YEAH DELAWARE. NO SMOKING IN BARS. For you all of you that couldn't make it, we missed you. We probably talked about you too with fondness. Brett here's wishing you the best. If you miss us as much as we're gonna miss you, COME HOME. We love you and would love to have you come back soon. Watch out for those southern belles, they can be coniving little lass's. They'll try to lure you in, then snap you up. Tell your oldest friend and your best friend it was nice meeting them. Your Mom & Dad are as special as you are. Will send pic's as soon as I get time to go get some more ink for my printer. Hello..! Very well said Linda! I really had a great time too. I love hanging out with all you guys. I wish I could have stayed longer and went to dinner, but my mommy guilt got the best of me and I left to go see my son perform at the football game, needless to say, I left a perfectly good party and a great time.. actually taking time for myself..and... I missed the kids performing and they didn't even play 2nd half at the game like they usually do. So, I ended up going to Mcdonalds with a couple of friends, had chb'r and fries and 3 choc chip cookies. bad bad problem child that I am. Hmm guess feelings really do affect bad eating choices huh? haha Anyway, can't wait to get together with all again. Hopefully soon! T

ok, so i said i don't and wont be coming back to this site for a while, and i was telling the truth, but i had to take the opportunity to thank each and everyone of you. i had the greatest time ever last nite. the warmth, and love i felt from you guys .... just wow. you will all be missed. thank you for your warmth, your gifts, your love...may take some time for the thank you notes, but theyre coming, i promise. stay healthy...eat protein...walk...no gum...and walk some more...when youre finished walking, please shoot me an email. you will all be missed. thanks and hope to hear from you all soon...not good bye...just see ya later. b. ps...my folks love you guys too.

OH OH OH ... add me to the list of those who had an enjoyable time!!! It truly was good to see everyone in a social setting enjoying themselves. The after party was good also. Everything went real well, until I had this brilliant idea to hike my skirt up into a super mini before going back into the house. Hubby was not thrilled with my joke!!! Although I thought it was hilarious!!! Thinking that he may be accompanying me on my next outing!!! AND I may be minus the boots Seriously guys ... truly we need to get together again real soon ... something really informal??? Want me to make some plans for say the middle of this month??? Hi Tammy, OK am at the thought of hubby's face when you came home! Poor guy I think plans for the middle of the month would be a great idea, I say yes, count me in! Linda PS, yes, the after holiday protein fest sounds good too...ooo and I do hope Dr. Irgau has Caroline plan the Christmas party. it's all just TOO MUCH FUN! Hoping my hubby can make it to our next event. lol you and I can stage a revolt and wear our boots anyway!

Hey Linda!!! I am hoping that Dr Irgau does have the party also. He told me at Brett's party that he was thinking of doing it. Then I heard some buzz about Carolyn planning it??? Not sure of anything past that, but I think it would be nice to get together with all of their patients, not just those that make it to support group. Can you imagine that group shot??? Dr Irgau/Wynn could put that up on their wall of fame for sure!!! Perhaps even make a mural out of it!!! Looking forward to more great group times, both planned and spontaneous. AND as soon as Wally world opens, we can all go on a field trip there. Checking out all the great goodies in the food department, AND of course the clothing department!!! Then when we laugh in the dressing rooms, no one will be calling the guys with the little white coats!!! hmmmm just wondering ... should we take the camera's to THAT event also???
