DC Convention...Nov 5-7

OMG.. I CAN GO! I just realized my kids have something going on that w/end so I can actually GO! I wanna goooooooooooo! U wanna go Carla? Linda? E? T? ALL? ohoh.. I need to get this info... Had 4 s/f but had sugar alcohol cookies- T (was 90 calories a piece!! jeesh.. didn't look at that until after I ate them, AND they didn't even taste good!)

Hey T -- I'm really considering it - I think it would be a lot of fun. I would only be going for the day - on Saturday.... OK...now about those cookies....It's great that they were SF, But...question for you...were they all at once or scattered throughout the day? The reason I ask, is that if you could eat a few more mini meals during the day, protein first and solid protein (like cheese) is better so that it stays with you longer, it may curb your desire to eat the 4 cookies. Just a suggestion...I am in no way an authority!! It's just cuz I love ya!! Keep up the good work girl -- you can do it!!!! ((hugs)) Carla

Yep, I was starving when I came home from work, really didn't have the opportunity to eat when I was first hungry. Had 2 cookies, then had to take my son to band.. then ate dinner, then went to open house at the school, then home (starving once again) and had 2 more cookies. I am learning that when I get too hungry, I'm ravenous.. and make really poor choices. Thanks dear for the ideas! Do I have your ph# on my list? I'll have to call you about the convention, saturday sounds good for me too. T

I would love to go also!!! Is there going to be a car pool with someone driving who is not chicken to drive in DC traffic? *I freely admit that I am SUPER CHICKEN of the month here!!!* Someone wanna take pity on this chicken and let me tag along? I will gladly cover the gas and/or conference charge for the ride. Or has anyone thought of taking the train? We could take the train in??? But I have never done that either, so once again ... SUPER CHICKEN!!! Would certainly want to do that as a group, not a super chicken loner!!! I think it sounds like a lot of fun ... especially if the buds of this board are going to be there!!!
