Hi everyone I want to thank everyone for their prayers and good thoughts. When I woke up on Monday morning, I was really calm and collected. Everyone at St Francis Hospital was warm and caring. When I was taken to the Cath. Room, I met everyone there. They asked if I would like back ground music and I said ,"yes, definately." Since they didn't have Phil Collins we settled on Fleetwood Mac. Anyway, when the surgeon came in, he asked me how I was doing. I told him that I brought a lot of prayer into the room with me. He told me that he had prayed for me also before arriving at the hospital. Everything went real smoothly. It even didn't hurt. When he was done, he told me that I have a perfectly good heart, no blockages. I even have an extra fully functional artery. He told me that he is giving me my clearance for the gastric bypass surgery. My follow-up appointment with him is scheduled for Tuesday, November 30th. This is the day before my surgery with Dr. Irague. I came home the same day. Got plenty of sleep. I missed the second meeting of my Life Skills class. Since I started the Life Skills menu so far I have lost 9 pounds. God is good all the time. All the time, God is good. Rose
