Hello everyone! I'm 10 mths post op on my baypass and Im down from 396 to 266. I know that Brett said to me to wait a yr to a yr half to get a tummy tuck. My question is, how long will I be in the hospital and recovery time spent at home before going back to work? I need to lose another 100 lbs to reach my goal weight of between 165-175. Im working out at work 5 days a week. Do you think I will be able to get the tummy tuck let say, next June? I know im rambling on here. I haven't had a flat tummy in years and I guess I'm getting impatience about when I can get it done. I know I can't get it done this year, ran out of time at work. Oh, also I hope to get to one of the meetings at pmri to see everyone. Where can I get the schedule? I thought they were suppose to mail you a news letter or something. BY for now

Hi Beth, I see Valerie to the rescue with the PMRI schedule ( Thanks Val! ) I can hardly believe you are coming up on your year. Where did the time go???? lol I remember when your date was moved up I kept thinking " I wi**** was me!" My turn came sooner than scheduled too tho, so I guess everything works out for the best. I'm not planning on having any plastics, so I can't help in that area. I just wanted to say hi and congratulate you on your progress, you have done a wonderful job. Hope to catch you at a meeting soon. Linda

Hi Elizabeth. How are you? Please come back to the meetings, we'd love to see you. 130 lbs. Way to Go. I bet you feel like a million bucks. Good for you. Keep up the great job. You would have been the same day as Tina and I, but you got lucky and went a month early. Gosh I can't believe time is passing so quickly. It sure has flown by. About the tummy tuck. I'm not thinking about it until I get alot closer to goal. Still have a ways to go. Maybe, maybe not. I'm not young and clothes can hide a multitude of stuff. So far my skin has been good to me. Lots of elasticity. Things are going down nicely. Besides I don't plan on wearing a bikini. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Hi Elizabeth, I'm 11 months out and have lost 162lbs. I started out at 380lbs and I'm down to 218lbs. I was just recently scheduled for a plastic surgery consult, but was told I wouldn't probably have it done until my 18 months is up. Based on what I've heard from others the time frame for recovery can range from 4 weeks and up. It really depends on the individual. I personally plan on taking atleast 8 weeks leave and then if I don't use it all, I'll just come back early. Hope to see you at the meeting November 1st. Shawna 11 months postop 380lbs/218lbs/150lbs???
