I keep forgetting that there is the main site and then the local site. I been posting on the main site, and I should be taking my questions to this site as all of you are local, and know what Places I am talking about. If I were to ask that is. Well, I am 2.5 weeks post op, just had my 2 week post op appt. With Brett Gordon, Now I know I should ask him but I keep forgetting, but what is his title. Not sure what M.S., PA-C means. If you don't know don't fret I will ask him on my next visit. When I hope he says I can eat Purreed meats and other foods. The cream soup and drinks is getting BORING. I have tried it all. But I know I am in definate need of a fill in this band. Cuz I went from eating only 3. OZ. and it filling me to eating and drinking alot more. . I am doing my best to excersise, I have lost 17.4 pounds. And the calorie intake YES has decreased from before surgery. So I hope to lose more for my next visit. I missed the BGP support group on October 4th, but plan on going to the Novemeber 13th one, hoping to make contact with some of you nice people. Who have sent me support info and well wishers. The Holidays are coming up. HOPE all are able to cope. I am trying to keep my ideas in tact. And try and understand that, Food is not that big a deal anymore. Well, thats it for now..BYE BYE.

Hi Margargret. Welcome. Aren't too many people that have had the lap band, but will the best we can to support you. Wow 17.4 lbs already. You sound like you're doing great. Keep it up. Only the Doc's can tell you about filling the band. I don't think that you are at a place yet though to get a fill. A little too soon. But again the Doctor's and you will be able to determine for you. Are you keeping a journal of what you are getting in? It'll help when the time comes to make any changes. Hope you are able to get in some walking. That'll help alot in your recovery. Take care. Hope to meet you at the PMRI support meetings. Elissa

Hi Margaret, and welcome! We need some bandsters here to round things out a bit. I'm an RNY patient but would love to learn about your procedure and I'm sure there are many band lurkers that could benefit as well. Hope to meet you at a PMRI soon. Linda
