Hi kids! :)
Hi everyone - thank you all for your emails, phone calls and well wishes for me & Amber. I'm still in recovery mode - some good days - some not as good. Amber is good other then she still seems to have an issue with a fast heart rate. The doctors don't seem too concerned over it because she is fabulous other-wise. So we are just keeping an eye on that, she has another check up on Tues. She is so tiny compared to my boys, when she was born she was 6lb 14 oz & when we left the hospital & again at the Dr. visit Monday she was 6lb 4 oz. (Normal for babies to lose a little in the 1st 2 weeks) My mom got her some preemie outfits at Walmart - they are so cute & fit her pretty well with even a little room. She was swimming in almost everything! lol, even the 0 - 3 mo stuff, it is pretty cute. She is picking her head up & turning it side to side & staying awake for short periods of time. She sleeps alot though - mostly just wakes up to eat & poop .
Joey & Matt are both doing great with their new little sister. Joey calls her baby sister & it is so cute.
I saw that Brett was leaving the practice to move down south? What's the scoop there? Does anyone know when he is leaving?
Thanks again everyone - I can't wait for you all to meet Amber - my doctor suggests waiting until she has her 2 month imunizations befroe bringing her into a large group or setting - we'll see - I didn't do that with the boys. But then Joey did get RSV so maybe he has a good point! I just can't wait to show her off - I'll get some pictures up soon - promise!
Hi Kathy!
Glad to hear that everything is going well!! You did hear correctly, Brett was leaving the practice. His said that his last will be at the end of this month, but i'm not exactly sure when he is actually moving. It will be sad to see him go, as i think we all like him. Can't wait to see you again, and of course, pics of baby Amber!!
Take Care & Hugs!!

Hi Kathy,
Glad to hear you are doing well and baby girl has both ends working properly
I remember when my oldest son was born, he was the littlest thing I ever saw. 6-13. lol I know what you mean about swimming in the clothes, his feet fell out of preemie size socks. Evan my youngest was almost 9 pounds, whewtalk about a difference.
I'm proud to say my now 17 year old tiny baby is MUCH taller than I am and wears a size 13 mens shoe LOL

HI Amber's mommy!
Glad to hear things are going well with you both and the boys are adapting to the new addition!
I can't wait to squeeze & kiss the new one, but I certainly understand the doctors concerns.
As for Brett, he said his last day was 10/30, but I'm thinking he meant 10/29 - maybe we'll have to go have an office 'un-happy' hour?
Talk with you soon!
Valerie
Kathy,
I am glad everything is going so well. Welcome back!! I'm not as frequent a visitor to OH as I used to be (my hectic lifestyle gets in the way!) but I like to check in now and again. I am sooooo happy that little Amber has arrived. Did I hear right, you were in labor during that terrible storm (hurricane)?
Looking forward to seeing pics ASAP and the real Amber when your doc thinks it's healthy for her to make her debut at a PMRI meeting!
TAKE CARE!
Kit
Hi Kathy,
I am so glad you are doing well, you and Amber. When I was in the hospital, I was talking to Dr. Wynn, I mentioned Amber Wynn to her and she proudly showed me her picture she had stored in her phone. She is beautiful, I can see alot of you in her. Well take care, I will get her present to her as soon as I can. From the sound of your post, it will be something she will have to grow into.
Take care Dana
