I came home from the hospital yesterday around 11:30am. Felt alot weird yesterday and today. I do finally get to shower today. Yippie! I just wanted to thank you all for keeping me in your prayers. Yes I was even vistited by the clown, he was goofy looking, but funny. I know it will take some time to get use to my new stomach (pouch). Any advice for making the weirdness go away I'm opening to suggestions. Love, Cynthia

Good Morning Cynthia!!! So good to see you up and posting!!! You are very welcome, I consider it an honor to be in prayer for you. Your shower will simply feel heavenly!!! I think you will feel a lot better after it. It is not at all unusual to feel off (weird) for a while after any surgery, especially one that completely rearranged your innards *grin*. But as always, if you have the slightest bit concern, call the doc ... truly they mean it when they say to call with your concerns. So you rated a visit from the clown eh??? I have yet to meet him!!! But I hear he is a rather handsome dude, if you go for that red nose kind of a look! Hang in there Cynthia!!! Time, rest, walking, fluids and protein are your best friends right now and will help you feel better soon. Hugs, Tammy

Hi Cynthia! Welcome home! I'm so glad things went well. As far as the weird pouch feeling? It'll take time. I still have good days & bad days...and a few in between days! Don't stress, it makes things worse on the pouch ( I know!). Take care & best wishes, Valerie
