Hi everyone! Today is my first day back to work since surgery 6 weeks ago. It was great seeing my co-workers again! Just a few observations since returning to work, I noticed how much money i USED to spend in our cafeteria....not anymore though! I've had no problems packing my lunch and being prepared for life away from the homefront.....at least for 8 hours a day! I have also noticed that when i have walked around the building to see people i haven't seen in such a long time, that I am walking faster without having to stop to catch my breath! What a great feeling it is too! The compliments haven't hurt any either! Dr Wynn has been my lifesaver and i am forever grateful to her and her excellent staff!! I can't wait to see her again and express my feelings in person. It's one thing to post them, but i want her to hear how much my life has changed since surgery! Life is Good!! -Joe-

Great to hear you are doing so well. It is amazing how much food is consumed at those cafeterias. Those surgeons we got are the best and have really altered our lives forever. Life is good, and keeps getting so much better! Keep up that positive energy, and keep packing that lunch. Good job. Rob

Yay Joe! I've been back a week and have only spent $2.55 (my daily total would be no less than $7 prior to surgery). I'm loving it! Keep up the good work! Valerie

Joe, What a great feeling. You should be proud of your accomplishments. I used to be embarassed to eat lunch with my coworkers because I shoveled in so much, now I am especially proud of myself when I put my fork down and say "I can't eat any more" while everyone else (even the skinny youngsters) keep shoveling it in! I wish I could have made it to one of the meetings last night. Life has just been far too busy. I agree with your thoughts on Dr Wynn! I see her for my 6 month check up on 10-22-04. I might have reached a major milestone by then. I'm only about 8 pounds from weighing 222. If you have read my profile, you might have seen that 222 was my weight at the beginning of my sophomore year in High School !! I remember trying to diet way back then...and not succeeding. Ken
