I am looking to increase my protein because I am working out more. I so far have been able to eat 80 grams of protein thru meats, chesse, beans and nuts. I would like to find a good tasting protein bar? any reccomendations would be appreciated

Charles, I don't really do the protein bars too much these days but here is a link to a post I made a while back with the ones I used to do. http://groups.msn.com/PMRIWLSFriends/wetriedwelike.msnw?action=get_message&mview=0&ID_Message=297&LastModified=4675469349402484883 When you read this post, please know that I would no longer eat the Tri-O-Plex bars because they have changed their formula since I posted my recommendation and I feel it no longer falls within our required specs. Not sure about any of the others because I have not kept up on them. A couple of the ladies have posted on bars they have tried lately and they like. I happened to be out and about yesterday longer than I expected and needed something to eat. I was able to pop into the grocery and pick up a box. One flavor was alright (I believe it was Q-Smart peanut butter-but it didn't taste good enough to me to eat, I only had one small bite of it). I then opened another box (Q-Smart Peanut Butter) and I thought it was pretty good and ate it all. Curious, a few minutes ago, I tasted the last flavor I bought (Post CarbWell Cranberry Almond) and I thought it was very good. You can find the recommendation for these bars at the following links. http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/state-forums/DE/postdetail/11141.html?vc=0 http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/state-forums/DE/postdetail/11192.html?vc=0 Hope this helps give you a starting point to help you find what you are looking for!!! Hugs, Tammy

Oh, one more thing ... when you read my list I posted that I purchased some of mine from Carb Busters on Kirkwood Hwy. Well, they are no longer in business, but you can still buy them at many other places. Just an FYI
