Reading the protein post it really struck me how different we all are on our way to the same destination of regaining health, life and freedom from a prison of fat. It serves as a good reminder that few things about this process are carved in stone and the MAIN objective is to get where you're going. It really doesn't much matter if you get there by bus, train or protein shake. Just GET there! If you are struggling right now, remember, there really are SO many ways to get where you need to be. Just keep plugging away till you find something that works and keep your sense of humor! Linda

Linda, What a sweet post! It's true. I can get almost all my protein by food already (got lucky!) and have a hard time with protein 'drinks', except for Unjury in my Crystal Light (thank you Rob & Elissa!). Have a great night, thanks for caring enough to post this message! Valerie

Linda, You are right. I am so lucky I found not only 1, but 2 protein drinks I like. I am getting more protein in my food now, but I still do the 3 protein drinks. They are so much tastier than plain water. I exercise almost 2 hours a day, and I need the extra protein to deal with that. Plus the fact I want to keep my hair. So far, so good. I feel so much healthier now, I can hardly be quiet about it. I am so happy I am without any meds. Blood pressure & cholesterol are both normal. I have slept the last week without my c-pap. Yippee!!!! I have tried to keep a picture diary of how much I have changed. Boy am I glad. All you newbies, keep taking before pictures. You will be amazed at the changes. It is awesome to see the metamorphis into a butterfly. My energy level is great now. I can play with my grandkids. I can keep up and not always look for a place to sit cause my legs hurt. I for one am glad how my journey is progressing. I'm gonna keep at this, I still have a ways to go. See everyone on Saturday at the PMRI meeting. ((HUGS)) Elissa

LOL well, not sure about a rat on my head but I went and had a look see at the wig page. Hmm...this might be an idea By the way Elissa, your wig looks FAAAAAABulous. LOL All the other Elissa's will be green with envy Let's just there isn't a strong wind and that baby fly off your head and end up in the harbor! Ok, I take that back, I'd laugh my arse off if it did and would want the pics posted. Linda OK, before anyone gets upset, I'm just KIDDING about Elissa wearing a wig, her hair is gorgeous and all her own, however, I heard she does have a wooden leg

How very true Linda ... and remember guys, that while some are taking the bus and train, and there are even those that have a private jet ready just for them (cough*cough* CHARLES) ... there are those that are doing this walking (perhaps even walking on our hands rather than our feet) one slow step at a time UGH .. but as long as we are walking in the right direction and haven't turned around to go back where we came from I guess it is all good eh? *sense of humor still intact, for the most part anyway - you didn't say it had to be a good sense of humor did you?*
