New Vitamin!

Hi Everyone, Centrum makes a chewable vitamin with minerals that has an orange taste! I was pleasantly surprised at how mild tasting the orange was. So at long last I have a vitamin. And the other nice thing is that you only need one a day as it is an adult dose! So all of you who have funny taste buds like me Centrum may be the one! See ya!

Just my thoughts, but check with your doc, you should be taking at least two of those, I take 2-3 a day. Even if it is an adult dose, we still do not absorb as we used to, hence the increase in dosage. I do find the taste is pretty good too.. like an orange creamsicle. T

Hey Terre, Good! Glad you found something But I would check with the doctors also...I think you should be taking more than 1 day....I agree with Tina. Maybe 3x a day for vitamins.

Terre, I take those also. PMRI recommends two a day. They are much better than those nasty flintstone vitamins. Deb

Dear Deb, You are so right! I don't think I will mind taking them more than once a day. Have a great day! Terre

Hey Terre, The Centrum chewable was my staple up until last month when I converted to the Optisource. About six months ago when I checked with Brett, you need to take it twice a day and continue to take the additional B-12 and Calcium. You may also need to find a good source for Biotin. I still keep Centrum at work as backup in case I forget to get in the Optisource in the morning. Have fun. Rob

Hi Rob, Thanks for the feed back! What is Optisource -- taste/cost/purchase place etc? Did you switch because of the lack of Biotin and what sources can I get biotin from? I still take the B-12 and the calcium. By the way can you send me the info on the syrups and some recipes when you get a chance? Thanks as always for your help. See you soon! Terre
