In Search of An Angel
Today I had my pre-op appt and it went well. I ran over to PMRI and weighed in, I made my weight loss goal. My info was sent to Aetna and I just called to check status and I was approved. I am so in denial that I just can't believe come Sept 29th I will officially be a loser. I want to thank everyone for your support..
Only thing now is, I need an Angel.
Thanks
Aisha
Aisha,
Congrats! I'm still pretty new at this, I'm available if you need to talk, but you may want an angel that is further out. Contact me at [email protected] if you would like my numbers.

WTG Aisha......get ready for the time of your life.....focusing on the new "YOU"..... Good luck with finding an "ANGEL"......I would offer my services as well but I am still a new post-op too. You may want to find a little more "seasoned" postie.....But in any event I am here for you in any way I can.
Shay
Same from me too. I had my surgery in May so like the others, I am still a newbie at this too, but would be willing to serve as an "Angel" if needed.
Good luck with the surgery and looking forward to welcoming you officially to this side!
Remember - take nothing with you to the hospital (no books, music, etc. except maybe some maxi pads if you are still menstruating) and get ready to walk, walk, walk. It will be a little cumbersome at first having to drag the IV pole around, but do it as often as possible. It will jump start your weightloss, get your bowels moving again and keep you from getting blood clots.
Keep us posted.
Best wishes,
Wendy
Hey Angie,
How are things with you? Here is the page on angels....hope this helps. Also some people feel a little more comfortable with a postie 6 months or more....All personal choices In my book we are all ANGELS.

Thanks.
I'm doing soooooooo well and feeling sooooo good (I never would have imagined 20lbs would make me feel like this).
Sometimes pouchie gives me trouble but I'm learning what I can and can't do yet. I remember your post about the Taco Bell getting stuck....ooool girl, I know how it feels. Plus I have a bad habit of eating too fast and (I'm working on it).
I joined the YMCA up on Rt 202 and I go to Aerobics (they have Cardio Jam and Dance Moves - I have a good time!) at least 4x a week and the family and I go swimming every Friday evening.
I'm doing good! How have you been?
Angie
