A friend of mine lent me a copy of "Eating Mindfully" by Susan Albers. It's not specifically for WLS patients but what I've seen so far it's very good! The subtitle is "how to end mindless eating and enjoy a balanced relationship with food." It has personal examples and exercises which are very helpful. VERY INFORMATIVE and INSPIRATIONAL. At least for me! CHECK IT OUT! Kit

Sounds like an interesting read. I know I catch myself eating sometimes without thinking!

Linda, I really liked this book because it tackles the food issue for everyone, not just WLS patients. The exercises make you think and the advice is very practical, (at least for me!). Explains why people overeat, undereat, diet, binge, purge, whatever! Even the parts of it that didn't pertain to my situation were interesting. KIT
