What a weekend...

Hi all! I just got back from a mini trip to OC. I had a great time. It was bike week down there, our first one. I would never have attempted to I do 3/4 of the things we did had I not had gastric bypass. I would have been the one back at the condo watching tv, or sitting on the bench at the boardwalk... I am so thankful that I did this - I was able to walk, ride bikes and stand for long periods of time without the aching and fatigue that I had long been suffering from. Just wanted to encourage those of you along the way - it just keeps getting better and better...this journey is a blessing and each day I am amazed at the progress. My next mission is to find a job so that I can purchase my own bike to ride down next year.... ((hugs)) Carla P.S. I posted a few pics from my weekend on my profile - take a peek! Wow CJ very cool. I'd have loved to go to that event. lol HUGE American Chopper fan here. Back before I was married I had a b/f who rode a Harley, I was total biker chick, lol tattoo, boots and all. I'm a band, scout and PTO mom now, but in my heart I'm still the biker gal, welcome to the club. You are gonna look great on that bike someday! Linda
