Vitamins ....
As many of you know I have had a hard time with the chewable vitamins On my last visit to Dr Wynns' she suggested the One A Day multiples swallowed whole now that I am 7 weeks out. Well, there are so many varieties and none have pictures on the box so the ones I selected - - for the active woman was a huge hard tablet. I have them in a drawer along with the chewables for my sister in Maryland. I can't afford to keep buying vitamins sight unseen so any suggestions as to what works for you might help me as I am not taking any at the moment and I know that is up there on the 10 things we are not supposed to be doing!
Thanks to everyone in advance. You all have helped me TREMENDOUSLY in the last 7 weeks since my surgery. I started back to work today and got too busy -- forgetting to sip my protein drink and I could feel the difference almost immediately. (fatigued!) I will do better tomorrow. Fortunately for me I am working 1/2 days. I stopped by the drs office and picked up some more of the protein products to help me keep up the protein. I am up and over 70 gms a day now!
I am using the Optisource Vitamins for Bariatric Surgery Patients. They are orange flavored chewable - taste like Tums - and you only need to take 4 per day. They have everything in them that we need - B12, calcium and iron included. The only other pill I take is Actigall. You can get them on the walgreens.com web site.
