School starting~stressful!, New # viewed options...

Hi all, Just venting.. sort of.. How's everyone making out adjusting to school starting again? Wow.. my life is hectic! Today was my boys first day, they both had a good day, for which I am thankful, but man.. I'm pulled in way too many directions. I couldn't make last nights meeting, cause today being the first day of school, and couldn't make tonights meeting for the same reason also my one son has soccer practice from 5:30 to 7:30, and the other has band practice from 6:00-9:00.. but I did get a walk in up at the fields while watching them both! Oh.. anyone notice the new colums on the posts.. # of views?? I find it utterly amazing that over 100 people are on the DE boards... Do you? Take care all, hope to get caught up with everything soon.

The start of school is usually overwhelming for me too. My guys have been back for two weeks already but I just went back to work, so I'm feeling the crunch. It smooths out a little once you get a routine going. Best of luck. Dianne

Hi Tina, Well back in the routine here, kids here went back August 26! I hear ya about the hectic part tho. lol any given afternoon and evening I can be found picking up from school, dropping my oldest off at work, bringing him home from work, marching band for my youngest and scouts. Tonight was a little slower and that's always a nice thing. *givin' the secret mom handshake" Go have a hot bath and a comfy bed. Linda

Tina, Isn't life crazy right now!!! 2 of my kids started school..its great..but I feel I spend more time in the car! Email me your number..I would love to call you and catch up!!!My hair is finally slowing down on the loss...I think the Nioxin that Elissa sent and my increasing protein..hopefully helped. I made it to a size 14..I'm so thrilled..and stunned. Do you ever feel like you are in a dream? I look in the mirror and still see the old me at times..and then get so shocked seeing the new me. YES! It's a blessing for the little dears to be back in school...but the schedules that come with it! Sheesh! Band, chorus, ROTC..then there's after-school activities....soccer, football, young marines, cheerleading. My head is spinning.... Hopefully, things will calm down...but probably not until after the holidays. (((hugs))) -Karen

Hey Tina, I know where your coming from about the driving around, it has gotten a little easy now that my daughter has her license. But that opens up a whole different chapter of worry and stress. I make her call me when there has been any change of plans and if I don't hear from her when I think I should I go into panic mode. I guess however old your children get, you never stop worring (sp) !! Take care Dana
