I need your suggestions!
Welcome Janice. I agree with Elissa. I think ladylike behavoir flew right out the operating room window. Starting with my corridor walks which I'm sure I mooned half of the Chrisitana Hospital at one point or another. That is a big concern for me too right now as I am divorced and there will be a time I start dating again! lol I'm still very thankful to have had this surgery and I figure that I'll just deal with it as it comes along. I have heard people say that Gas-X does help, I haven't tried it. Maybe some of the others will have some suggestions. Good luck.

You are not crazy or unladylike. I am 4 months out. Down 80 pounds and the burping is finally slowing down. It didn't matter whether I ate slow or not, the burping just happened. I spoke to Dr. Wynn and she said it was not gas it was air. (Gas-X never touch it.) What I learned to do when this occurred was get up and walk. Walking helps alot of the problems we face. One suggestion I would make is to let it out. If you don't it will cause you to have stomach pains. So try to be discreet and let them wail.
Good Luck.
