Dianne DL RNY 8/3/04, down 29.2 lbs at 4 wks out at Dr Irgau's office on Monday and looking forward to my PMRI weigh in and stats tomorrow 9/3. I'm feeling good, a little nausea. Still adjusting to solids. Still very happy I had this opportunity to change my "deterioration of a life" around. I also need to up my exercise. Thinking I will feel better, less fatigue when I go back to work (or am I dreaming?). I also appreciate each and everyone of you gals and guys on this board and it's nice to see Nicki's smiling face at the Dr's office. I feel truly blessed.

Diane, You are doing great. You looked really happy and "perky" at the last meeting. Keep your protein up and try and get in Brett's twenty mintues a day and the fatigue should decrease, may not go totally away. Speaking for the group, we love having you on the board and seeng you at the meeting, getting energized at getting new people involved, and spreading the word. Your friend, Rob

Thanks, Rob. That is so nice of you to say. I'm trying to work it the best I can -- I chalk a lot of the knowledge about that up to you folks from the "wonderful Delaware message boards". Dianne

Ken - RNY 4-13-04, down 75 pounds. I have been sitting between 235 and 240 pounds for about 5 weeks now and getting really frustrated. I've upped the protein, I've added some calories, and I have been exercising. I just had to go to the 4th hole on my new belt, so even if the scale isn't moving, the waist-line is!!! I'm NOT complaining. I have been going to the gym every weekday morning. Kne

Kathleen - RNY - July 28th I'm down 33 pounds and almost two sizes! I'm taking the advice of the Board and not weighing myself except at the Drs office and next week is my appointment so I can't wait to see the numbers! I still need to slow down more when I'm eating. It comes from decades of eating too fast!

Mama: RNY 6/21/04, down 40 pounds. Exercising and increasing my time on the treadmill as well as my speed. Eating well, only gotten sick a few times usually when I've eaten too quickly or too dry of meat. Am now wearing 14W clothing. Amazing even to me. Going on vacation this week, a mini cruise (5day) to Canada. They should have given me a discount. Traveling with my shakes etc. Feel like I'm packing for a baby. VERY glad that I did this for ME. Off all med's for BP etc. Waiting one more evaluation to see if I need to go back on cholesteral med's. I've been off since one month before surgery and it dropped to 176 from 236. Now if we just get the HDL and LDL straightened out. Thanks so much for this sight and all the support you each give. I appreciate it greatly. Mama
