Just got home from exercising. On a typical day I usually do a 3 mile walk ( more if I have time ) On odd days I do a tape called Chicometrics...it's isometrics and it's WONDERFUL! I had a money setback, so I'm still waiting to get my universal gym for the basement, but will be getting it soon and adding in weight lifting as well. I also make a point to park far away in a parkiing lot when I'm shopping and running errands, and taking stairs if they are available.

I do Pilates classes at Bodies in Balance twice a week. Its the first excersise I've liked besides swimming. I also have those Walk Away the Pounds walking tapes, and I plan to begin using them soon. I just need to DO IT, but I love Pilates. ~ Renay

I go to the Beach Fitness Center in Newark, three to four times a week. I do weight training and 1/2 hour of cardio. On the off days I walk and do Tae Bo. (not very good at Tae Bo, lol) Deb

I joined Ladies Workout Express about a month ago, and love it. It's on the line of Curves but with some differences. It's interval circuit training. The equipment can have the tensions adjusted to the individuals, where Curves equipment only have one setting. I've been going at least four times a week, usually five. I've also been swimming at the community pool, which is a HUGE deal because it's the first time I've ever used the pool in the ten years I've lived here. I finally feel not so embarrassed to be in a swim suit. (I'll feel better after the extra skin is cut off my thighs!) And I've been walking a lot. Me, who used to avoid exercise at all cost! Debbie

Walking.. at least every other day. Not sure in distance but go for 30 minutes at a quick pace. It's about all I can fit in my schedule. Would love to do more, think work would give me afternoons off to accomadate?? LOL T PS Shay... great posts!

Hello everyone. I just got back from Kirkwood Fitness. I did weight circuit training for about 45 miutes. Swimming aroebics for 45 minutes. Tomorrow I will do the cross trainer and treadmill for 20 minutes each and swim for 45 min. I alternate days. Give the muscles a break in between. I am now addicted to exercise. I love it and look forward to it everyday. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Just walking 20-30 mins almost everyday. I use this ski machine 3-4 times a week but I can only do 5 minutes on it. I need to join Curves or use the gym at work when I get back.
