Horrible day
Hi friends,
I think this is officially the worst day of my life. My cat passed away this morning and I am completely distraught. He has been my constant companion for the last 15 years.
I try to take comfort in the fact that he is now at peace, but with living alone, this house feels so empty.
Thanks for listening.
Best wishes
Debbie
P.S. i decided to drop the alias (Debbie Corinthos) and use my real name!
Hi Debbie
My heart goes out to you. Our cat Jennifer Bubbles was 18 when she passed. My daughter, Michelle and the cat grew up together. Jenny was down to 4 lbs due to a thyroid problem. Since I knew in my heart that I could never replace her with another cat, 2 years ago we got a puppy. Every once in a while I call my dog Zsa-Zsa by our cat's name. We still have Jenny's pictures and lots of memories.
I am here for you if you need someone to talk to.

Debbie,
I understand your feelings towards your loss.... I am a huge animal lover and owner!! I hope you find peace within your heart and know your beloved kitty is in a special place where he/she will have the cat nip it wants! If you need anything at all please call me. I am staying at my parents for a few days since my husband has to work both jobs the rest of the week and I am still recovering from my plastics. Their # is 994-1630. Please don't hesistate to call. Peace~~ Hope
Debbie,
I understand how hard it is to lose a beloved pet that has been both comfort and companion. Do take consolation that if he was sick, he won't suffer anymore. It is so difficult for animals that can't express pain or discomfort. I lost my Bassett Hound to lymphoma; she was only 7 years old and a wonderful dog. We also have a cat named Ariel who will be 12 this year, and I lover her to death.
I know you can never replace the friend you lost, but do consider bringing in another pet to your home. They each have their own personalities and you may find that a new friend can bring you new joy.
