Day 1.....
hmmmmm ... what's up with this ... all the guys are saying you don't really need your chap-stick??? And the gals are highly recommending it??? Could it be that perhaps we ladies put a higher priority on soft kissable lips??????????????
Wishing you the best Joe ... remember, pack heavily ... this will give you something to do with yourself while you are jittery. When you get to the hospital pull out your jammie bottoms (If you so desire), toothbrush and paste (they didn't give me any so I am glad I had my own), deodorant, brush, chap-stick and any other personal toiletries you must have and then shove your bag into the closet and don't expect to visit it or your other goodies again until you are ready to go home
Remember to be a good boy and don't be flashing the nurses as you speed by them!!! It won't phase them ... they have seen it all before!!! Oh, one more thing ... if you get that pesky ole pump that goes off all the time when it is unhooked from the wall ... ask for another one .... boy was that thing a pain every time I tried to take a walk. BEEP BEEP BEEP One of the nurses actually tried to tell me that it was not a problem with the battery, I was just walking too much!!! The nerve!!!
Hugs,
Tammy
