UNJURY & Shipping Problems
I ordered UNJURY on line on Saturday and received it today. I was so happy that my delivery did not take so long as I truly need to increase my protein. ( I am only averaging aboout 45 to 55 a day and this is week 4 -- my minimum is 55)
Well I tore open the box and saw that I had 2 full size as I had requested and 5 samples in the flavors (vanilla and chocolate). Later this evenining when I went to add the UNJURY to my soup I said to my hubby, "hmm the unflavored has a brownish color to it." Then I smelled it and low and behold the 2 full containers that were supposed to be unflavored were in fact both chocolate. I checked my order form and I did the ordering correctly so the shipment was wrong. I called and e-mailed them tonight. I do not feel I should have to pay for there mistake as far as paying to reship the chocolate. Now 1 container is open. I was too upset to try it --- perhaps it will be ok taste wise but I specifically wanted the unflavored based on all the rave reviews you all have given it plus all the recipes....
Thanks for listening, ladies and gents. I am so misereable about now....
Hey Terre,
Yes I know the feeling!!!! This happend to my unjury order as well. But the owners are so nice and understanding.....Jerry (owner) will call you back personally and email you back as well. They will fix the problem trust me and credit you mostly likely for your troubles. He is a very good business man. Sorry that happend to you. Talk to you later.
P.S.
The chocolate is good mixed with SF hot chocolate.....yummy. Nice warm drink on the pouchie
Terre,
So sorry this happened to you. I know how frustrating it can be to be expecting something only to realize at the last minute there was a mistake. But perhaps this will turn out to be a not as bad experience in the end if you find that you like the chocolate.
I can't speak for Martha and Jerome, but I can speak from my past business with them and that of my friends. They have been both pleasant, honest, and good people to do business with. The smallest mistakes are handled with concern and care for the customers (me and my friends). I am thinking that perhaps as soon as they realize there was a mistake, they will immediately ship your first order out and rather than have you send the "bad" order back, will tell you to just keep it at no charge. Obviously, I can not guarantee this. I can only say that in the past, they have been more than fair to correct any mistakes with honesty and integrity. I have always appreciated this about them. I am truly sad that I can no longer tolerate the Unjury Protein. I wish I could continue to do business with them. I hope all works out for you in your favor.
Hugs,
Tammy
PS - I am in agreement with Shay ... I loved the chocolate made into Hot Chocolate. I usually warmed my milk in the mircowave (lukewarm, not hot) and then added my protein to it for a nice warm treat for my healing tummy. (Something I have since tried with another protein powder is to add a bit of chocolate pudding to the shake - hot chocolate ... YUMMY! Never tried that with the Unjury, but imagine I would have loved it just as much. I personally never cared for the Unjury vanilla (my personal taste), but chocolate and unflavored where staples in my diet. Lately, I have been making my shakes with water adding SF vanilla, carmel, english toffee syurps and ice and shaking for a wonderful treat. They are REALLY good this way if you blend them ... kinda like a Wendy's frosty ... but my blender bit the dust so I just shake for now! But if you have a blender handy, you may find you like them this way and it will help you get in your protein.
Hey Tammy and Terre,
How is that chocolate Unjury? I have only ever bought the unflavored. Since I have been making smoothies every day for 10 months now just wanted to add my two cents. Terre, I buy all my Davinci syrups on-line English Toffee is my favorite, but I do mix it up with French Vanilla, Raspberry, and several others. I usually order about 6-8 bottles at a time to get free shipping. I use soy milk in mine with ice, and crush them up in a smoothie maker (first one bit the dust about two months ago, so I'm on my second). I like to add Trader Joe's Better than Peanut Butter (real sweet but only 2g of fat vs. 6g for peanut butter) for thickness, frozen fruit (raspberrys, pineapples, oranges, etc,) for pulp, and good old oatmeal for regularity. I also sometimes use the Sorbee's chocolate syrup (uses Splenda) for a different taste. I make two in the morning and take them to work, and have one mid-morning, and take the frozen one out and have it late afternoon. Good luck. Sounds like you are just about to move out of the pureed stage. Real food rocks.

Hey Rob!
The chocolate and the unflavored Unjury was a staple for me for the first several months. LOVED IT! Not sure what happened, but one day a couple of months ago, I found I could not tolerate it. Go figure?
BTW - I promised to get back with you on the protein that I am using for your research for the nutritionist. Currently I am hanging out mostly with my good bud Champion Nutrition Pro-Score 100 ... love the specs on it. I throw in some Champion Nutrition Whey Stack to help keep the monthly costs a little lower and mix things up a bit. I also want to mention RTD (ready to drink) Protein Ice (grape) and EAS Precision Protein (grape and fruit punch). I think these are EXCELLENT for the new post-op. They are a bit "thinner" and oh so easy when the post op is only drinking an once at a time.
To read more about the protein you can peek in the links below. I am really impressed with the pro-score 100 specs. (take a peek and tell me what you think) I have only tried the chocolate and like it. Have mostly heard that you either love it or hate it. Personally, I think I would drink it regardless of the taste. We need to feed our bodies quality foods including protein, vits and etc to stay healthy. (my soapbox and I am hoping off now).

BTW - I sent you an email last night in reply to this question, only to realize this morning that it would not go to you ... it was sent to OH. ( I sent a reply from the notice that said you posted to this thread... DUH. Blonde moment!)
Hope you have a great day Rob!!! Please tell your lovely bride I said hello!!!
Hugs,
Tammy
