How do I change my name in my profile?

I need How do I edit my name in my profile? Also, how do I update my profile? I have tried highlighting Future Update and typing in the date but nothing happens. Any advice I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Michele

I don't know how to edit a name, hope some others answer this with that information. I have heard where some people just cancel out their account and start a new one in a new name, got to be an easier way. To update your profile, click on "your profile" at the tope of the page click "general info" type in the box. Hope it helps.

Michele, Up above this page there are a bunch of links. Click on Your Profile. Then, Log in through with your password and go to General Info. Then scroll down to Comments and that's where you'll see your updates. Here is a direct link to that area but just wanted to mention where you can find it on the page so you will have two routes to get you there. http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/newauthenter.phtml To change your name just go find the area at the top of this page where there are a bunch of links. Click on your profile. Then, log in with your current member name and password and scroll down to GENERAL INFORMATION and click that tab (the top left side of your screen (as you are facing it)) It will be the first column - you will see a category called General Information. To change your name, just scroll down a bit on that page and you will see the place to enter in all your personal information (name, address, etc) Just put the new name you want right there. I do NOT put my personal information on that page ie phone number, address, etc. They do not need it for the account, and there has been some problems with someone using a program to "mine" information and thus make some lude calls to some members. (That is the rumor anyway, and I would rather not have someone calling my home and deep breathing in my phone unless they want to introduce themselves first *GRIN*) So I just err on the side of caution. If you want to add information to your journal, just go to the "BOX" in the middle of the page ... it is called "Please describe anything you would like about yourself below. What are your hobbies, interests, concerns, suggestions, etc:" is where you can enter stuff in your journal. This is where people enter stuff that you can read on their profiles. Again, when finished, make sure you scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Update my File button. I also recommend that you click on the box that says to send a copy of this to your email in the event that their servers should ever crash. Hope this makes sense ... It is LATE and my eyes and head are a bit foggy. AND am smack dab in the middle of a HUGE DUMPING SESSION on Wendy's Chili of all things (late dinner - got unexpectedly got caught out from home) !!!!
