PMRI Meeting

Hi friends, Just checking to see who is going to the meeting on Monday. I'm still having computer trouble, so I'm trying to communicate from work. I wish I could answer all the posts, just know that I am thinking of everyone. Love, Deb

Hi Deb - I'd love to see you all but even if I'm in town the 16th is my 7th wedding anniversary so you could say I have a previous engagement. But, I should be at the 28th meeting. Sorry you are still having computer problems, did you ever figure out how to put in the new .. mother board? I don't remember what it was - just that you needed to install something. We should have a girls poker night at your house or something - maybe we could get elissa to take a look at it?

I'll be at the Monday-8/16 meeting at PMRI. I'm hoping to convince my husband to join me so he can start getting himself educated about what I'll be going through.

Debbie, I think you needed a hard drive installed?? Shouldn't take but a few moments. Worse part is trying to figure out how to get the covers off. Let me know when I can take a look at it. Elissa

Is the meeting only for Christiana Care patients? I'm having my surgery at UPENN, but I was wondering about connecting with folks down here since I live in Wilmington. Also, if its open to non-CC patients, what time is the meeting and where? Thanks, Renay

Hi Renay, you can come to the meetings. They are $5. per person including any support persons you may bring. The next meeting is Monday the 16th at 7pm then the 28th at 10 am. They usually have them twice a month one on a Sat & one on a Mon. Always at the same time of day (10 or 7) but the dates vary. Hope that helps a little, sorry I don't have a schedule beyond August.

How large is your group? The group at UPENN is said to be 50-80 people at times. ~ Renay
