Im having a melt down AARRRRGGGGHHHHHH

My pre op appt is tomorrow my surgery date is Aug 30th and guess what they still dont have all my clearences. Dr Wynns office called me at 9:30 this morning telling me that PMRI(whos appt I had JUNE 16th mind you) still hasent faxed them the clearence, neither has Dr. Adelkes office. And of course I have called both places at 9:45 am to speak to that lovely automated system. Im sorry I just needed to vent instead of going to the fridge. Thanks for listening..... Kristina

Kristina, First off - HUGS!!! Second off - How upsetting !!! Perhaps a little personal visit to PMRI and Dr A's office this afternoon is in order? I have found that sometimes it is easier to get things done when you are face to face rather than ear to voice mail. At the very least I feel better knowing (at least thinking) I am able to actually do something, rather than sit around and wait. thanks I finally got to talk to a voice at PMRI she said as long as she has the info by Mon. everything should be ok soooooo, my appt isint until 3:20 tomorrow if I dont hear from them today I am going to there office I have left 3 messages today. This way I will have it in my little hands and maybe Misty can fax it to PMRI. I just keep saying a little prayer every hour or so. If its meant to be God will show me the way (even if its driving to Dr A's office tomorrow)

Hi Kristina, I know what you mean! Same thing happened to me. Last Friday, I drove to Dr. A's office to pick up my clearance and then drove to Dr. I's office for my pre-op and to turn my clearance in. They were making me crazy and so nervous. If you speak to Tina at Dr. A's office, she will transfer you to the medical records clerk (I forgot her name). She is the one that gets everuthing together for you. Drive down there, don't count on them to fax it! Good Luck! Angie
