Shay Update

I spoke with Shay this evening and she sounded good! She is walking a lot and trying to breath in her breathing appratice, to keep her lungs clear. I guess her white blood count was a little high, so they want to make sure she keeps moving. They are going to do another blood test in the morning. If all goes ok, she will get to go home tomorrow. It did sound like they were going to have her take a round of antibiotics, just to be safe. I guess Brett, said it is nothing to worry about as long as she walks and breaths to get her lungs strong. She wasn't too concerned and sounded very upbeat. She has had a lot of company, which is a good thing. Please keep her in your prayers, Thanks Nicki

Thanks so much for the update! I sent out emails to both of our newest posties yesterday!!! What a ride they have in front of them!!! How exciting!!!

How is Gail doing? I'e never met her but I know she was having surgery on the same day as Shay. Is Gail's recovery going OK?
