I Did It!! I made the climb!!

Hello Peoples, I was away at the Outer Banks near Cape Hatteras for the last week. Some of you know that my goal from the begining of my weightloss surgery was to climb to the top of the Cape Hatterad Lighthouse. Well on Thursday August 5th, I took the climb of 12 stories (268 steps) to the very top of the the famous lighthouse.

I was a little disappointed that I had to stop twice to catch my breath but before I would have never made it before.

I have a picture taken at the top and will soon have it posted. I also bought me one of those stupid 'I survived the climb" shirts...in size medium. It was a wonderful view! Oh and yes, I survived Hurricane Alex! That was also exciting until my Jeep almost went under water. It is safe though. Now I just have to think of another goal to make. My tummy tuck and thigh lift is scheduled for August 19th. Anyone who wants to know how to prove yourself to the insurance company just email me and I will tell you how I went about the 2 appeal processes to win my benefits of coverage. WOW.. Congratulations! What a great feeling you must have.. I'm so happy for you. I for one am not one *****aches goals, I always give up.... so I'm especially proud of you! I know you've talked about that for a while, so to acutally do it is wonderful. Glad you had a good vacation and survived Alex! T
