I have a slight fever now...

I'm watching the thermometer, my temp was a little over 100. The instructions say if over 101 to call. I took some tylenol childrens' liquid and it came down a little, but went back up. If it goes to 101, I'll call the Drs. Otherwise I'm feeling simply marvelous after my shower. Think I'll go to bed and check temp in am. Fingers crossed. Dianne

Call them in the am anyway. Even if it's not over 101. A fever over 100 is indicative of something. You just had a MAJOR surgery. People and things in places where they weren't meant to be. A fever is somewhat expected. You just may need an ABX to help along the way. Think I came home on Keflex. Had a fever also. Stick with the Children's tylenol. What pain meds if any did they put you on?.And don't think of the incision as scary. Think of it as a battle wound. Wear it with pride. Ha ha . Have a great day.~Jane

I had a fever up to 100 off and on for the first few days. If it still persists today, call the office! They may just tell you to keep taking the Tylenol, but call them anyway!!! Glad that you are home and doing OK! Ken

It's gone. So that tells me that my immune system is right on, working as it should. I'll keep a check on it. Thanks guys, you made me feel better, I was a little on edge about it last night. What a miracle having the whole night to sleep without someone coming in to take temp and bp! Oh Home Sweet Home. I miss my kids, they are in Great Adventure today with Daycare. This is their last day at daycare. By Monday, I'll probably be ready to send them back lol.
