August Surgery Date

Hi all, I have a surgery date of August 17th with Dr Wynn and Dr Irgua.I was wondering if anybody else had that date or a date close to it so we could be hall walking buddies.I'm getting butterflies in my stomach the closer the date gets and it sure would be a comfort to know I'm not alone in the hospital.My domestic partner had the surgery 2 years ago with Dr Smoot in Seaford and she will be visiting but she walks way too fast for me.....lol. Denise, I'm newly post-op so I can't help you with the hospital walking but I can offer support to you! You'll be fine with all the good staff around you plus you have the strength of this whole board to lean on. Hang in there and you will do great! Kathleen

I think Angie Dinkins on this board may be having surgery on 8/16 (?), I am scheduled for the August 10th. Good luck!

Hey, fellow M-towner... Just wanted to say congrats on u'r surgery date...and u will do fine! Both surgeons are so wonderful--u'r in totally good hands. Let us know u'r progress... (((hugs))) -Karen

Hey Denise, Looks like you and Angie will be there within a day of each other. She can look in on you or visa versa. Start walking and practicing breathing and sipping now. Come time you'll be ready. Start with little steps. I still walk slow. But now I can walk longer without getting out of breathe. Yippee!! ((HUGS)) Elissa
