Filter in and running...
Well my filter is in. Not too bad. Goes in the groin and comes out the neck in two weeks. It's inserted with a syringe and I only have a band aid to show for it. I was awake, but drugged. The filter rests somewhere near my breastbone to prevent clots from going to the heart and lungs (sounds like a good idea). The worst part is having to keep the leg still afterwards for three hours, that was torture. I've slept off the anesthesia by now, I think. House full of people just left. I've covered the lawn mower, watered the plants, moved the trash can to the curb and now have to pack for tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing Ms Kitty. I think I might get to see Denice, too. Thanks for all the well wishes and advice (keep 'em coming).
Love to all,
Dianne
