Burning Pain Anyone?

Burning Pain Anyone? Just wondering, I have been getting this burning feeling in my mid abdomen area. Its strange its the exact feeling I use to get when I knew I was stressing about something and my stomach was irritated. Just like the burning pain of an ulcer. I was wondering where the heck is our old stomach sitting? I never thought to ask them about that. Is it sitting a bit lower in the tummy? Anyway I forgot to tell Bret about the burning in my belly. I will call him to let him know but I was just curious if anyone else felt this sensation. I usually take some tums and it helps but it really does feel like an irritated stomach but instead a bit lower than usual. I'll probably re-post this later since its so early. But would love to hear anyones input or experience. Oh just fyi that I dont have my gallbladder. Thanks Elizabeth M

I have the same type of feeling when I eat and especially when I drink. I just thought it was from the surgey sites in my new stomach connections. I feel it higher, like just below my rib cage on the left side and lower in my abdomen. I'll be curious if any one can tell us exactly what this feeling is. Terry W

Yeah that is probably from you still healing. I felt that too, I only say that because its to your left side and below and thats where I felt my pain when I was that early on out. But you know I still get a little stich there in my little incision on the left. I told Bret about that and he said it may be nothing but if it continued and got worse to call him and if it got real bad to go to the hospital. He said its possible there is a little hernia on the incision site. THis burning that I am feeling is right in the middle of my mid stomach. I swear it feels just like the begining of an ulcer that you would normally get in your "old" stomach. I am just nervous because of the area its in. Its strange. I am going to call them as soon as they get in becuase its burning now. Give brett a call yourself just to confirm whether or not you should go in to see him or not... I told him about that pain and thats actually what he mentioned that the connection to the new pouch was still healing and such. but its always good to be sure. Elizabeth M
