Does anyone know about how there phones work there ,do I have to buy a prepaid phone card to make calls or do they just give you a bill when you leave.

I'm not sure about a phone card for ld's but all in all anytime you check in to Christiana Care they charge your home phone bill $10. At least this was true when I worked in telecommunications. People used to make calls and bill to their home # through the hospital operator. I left there before phone cards, I guess you can do that yourself from the room with a card.

I don't think the phone company lets people bill to their home phone any more to maney problems with people giving someone elses phone number to bill to.

All of your local calls are covered under the $10 phone charge but a prepaid phone card is a good idea if you will be needing to make long distance calls. Whatever you do, try and avoid collect calls from there. Lat time I made one it was $14 + change for a *** TWO *** minute collect call... Sheesh, they spank you on that one!
