Tomorrow
I came home from the hospital 17 days ago. And now it's your turn. Your day has finally come. You've planned for this, waited for it, researched it, and now it's your turn. You will do well. This isn't like all the other times you tried to lose weight. This time, you have a support system unlike any other. This will work, and tomorrow you get to step through to an interesting journey on that will truly take you to the other side. It's your turn. You're a winner! It's gonna work.

Theresa,
I am sure you will do fine. Make sure to breathe. It helps the nervous feeling subside. Tomorrow I hope to hear that you are up and walking. I will be waiting to hear from you. You have done all your homework, now you need to have faith in your surgeons. I'll say a little prayer for you today. See you on the losing side.
Your friend,
Rob
I am six days out and I am feeling great. One day at a time. Do not be afraid to ask for anything. The nurses were good but still could use a slight more training with the procedure. I found a few nurses and aid who are so compassionate about this procedure and will share some ideas with you. You are your own best advocate. Dr. Wynn was excellent! The staff from admission to OR are great! They mean it when they say BREATHE! I wish you the best and take one day at time one small meal at a time.
Theresa,
Dr Irgau and Dr Wynn are terrific surgeons. And they have a outstanding support team. Truly, you are in good hands (lots of them)!!! I don't believe you could have found better surgeon team had you searched the world over. They are top knotch and are top in their field. Try to breathe deeply and concentrate on how your life is going to change when you start emerging out of this body that has held your prisioner for so long.
Hugs,
Tammy
