Had Pre Op Appt with Brett & Dr Irgau again...
Just left the office. Appt went well. Now looking for the day (again). I was in and out so fast, that I didn't get to see Ms Kitty - sorry I missed you. Oh Brett said 8/21/04 Sat he is the moderator for the PMRI meeting and it will be a lot like his last one. Very informative, he said it's a good one to bring the family to attend as well.
Have to get blood work done again. Then just waiting...

Dianne,
That is great news!! My fingers are crossed for the date to come quick for you! Also, great news again, with Bret doing the PMRI meeting. I am very relieved to hear that it is on 8/21. That would be 4 days before i have surgery, plus I wouold have been back from vacation. i w2as worried that i would miss the August meeting since i am going to miss the July meeting. Has it been confirmed that 8/21 is the date of the meeting and also do you or anyone reading this post have a new list of PMRI meetings?? Thanks!!

Dianne,
No one at Dr. Iragu's office, Brett or the office staff knew about last night's profile snafu.
He said he was glad we brought it to his attention. At first Dr. Iragu asked Brett to check the Washington site directly on their office PC but I told him the profiles had been removed later last night. I had printed ALL of them out prior to their removal so I was able to give him the hard copies. Both Brett and Dr. Iragu agreed it was so weird (Delaware patients going to Washington state? Patients talking about completely different docs than who was on the Washington clinic's staff?).
When I was leaving I saw thru the reception window that Brett was holding the printouts and talking to someone on the phone. Guess he was trying to get some answers too!
Well, it probably was an unfortunate mistake. I can see why some people feel violated, if nothing else it is definitely a HIPPA violation. I'm glad that Dr Irgau was concerned enough to have it checked out even though it has been corrected. There are some things on my profile that I only want other AMOS members seeing, and I'm sure that's how everyone feels. I'm glad you had the hard copy to show him.
