It's been 10 days since my surgery

It's been 10 days since my surgery and I've lost 16.8 pounds according to my scale. I see my doctor today to have the staples removed. This is my first outing (except for a five minute visit to a neighbor's barbecue) since a got home a week ago today. It will also be my first lunch away from home. Afterwards, we have to do some grocery shopping and friends are stopping by this evening. It's going to be a busier day than most and a test of my stamina.

But, it's a day when things must be done, and I am looking forward to getting these staples out. Have a wonderful day Diane C.
