HAPPY 4 TH OF JULY

I hope all of my friends are enjoying the weekend . I still do not have the engery to do much...but guess what I SLEPT 4 hours WOW then went and crawled in my chair and hit another 3 hours ... first time in 4 weeks.... ok here is a big ? for all of you out there.... as you know I have been very sick and i should be drinking my protien but i get so sick gag , trow up, makes me feel over full then i do not want to drink the rest of the day.... so HELPPPPPPPPP ME love ya all Mel

Dear Mel, I found that different types of protein drinks react to my body differently. I can't remember the name but the "Purple stuff, mixed berry" that comes in a purple bottle really does me in. And that is what I was using the first few days home from the hospital. I'm not crazy about milk flavored items but they go down real easy. There is a great tasting mild chocolate flavored one from Carb Delites that when mixed with ice and milk tastes really great. It is really trial and error and trying alot of different items. The hot chocolate mix from Dr. Wynn's office isn't too bad, but some of the other ones are really nasty. The way I look at it is I would have spent the money going out to dinner with my husband so if I buy lots of different items and try them until I find what tastes good then I can justify the expense. I've only been to GNC, The Vitamin Shoppe, and Carb Delites. But the variety is sure out there. I just pass the leftovers onto family who want to loose weight and are on the SouthBeach or Atkins diet. There are several who insist that I am not going to get skinnier than them!!!! Well, Mel. Good to hear from you. Took the kids to fireworks on the riverfront tonight, they were awesome. We just pulled over on north 13 and watched two great light shows. Hoping it all pulls together for you soon, Mel.
