I'm home!

I saw Shelly on July 2, and I want you to know that she's a real pistol! She was doing laps around the nurse's station on the day after her surgery. She was determined to go home today, and I do believe she'll do it. I had a rough second day, with pain catapulting my normally low blood pressure to 200. The cardiologist monitored that pretty closely while I was there, but after a day and a half everything normalized and I was able to go home on day four (yesterday). I was kind of in la-la land yesterday, sleeping more than not, but today I've been able to stay awake and be fairly perky since 9:30 a.m. I'm hoping to go to church tomorrow. My house is pretty well upside-down with our remodeling and renovations quite behind. But I'm walking up and down steps to go to the bathroom and take a shower. I didn't get on the computer until today, and I'm handling that pretty well also. I've also started losing weight, so I guess everything is on track. I appreciate your support and your encouragement. I look forward to future success and victories as I use this tool effectively. Thanks so much Diane C.
