Meeting Monday?

Will there still be a meeting at the church in Newport on Monday July 5th? I'd like to start attending that group, but haven't had the opportunity to do so yet. I was just wondering.

The meeting on July 5th will be held in Battery Park in New Castle. We will meet by the pier so bring a chair and some water and your dinner if you want. I am going to cancel the church that night as many people will be on vacation and it will not be convenient for the church to be open. IF IT IS RAINING WE WILL NOT MEET. I plan on getting to the park early and ride my bike for a while. If anyone is interested in biking with me let me know and we can arrange time and place. Barb

Biking? Pre-op? I'm impressed! But have to take a raincheck on that one for 6 months or so. Hope to see you. Maybe I can bring the boys and they can play basketball on the courts.

Take Rt 40 to Rt 13N. Turn Right onto 273 that's Hare's Corner (Farmer's Market) Continue 273 to Rt 9-Olde New Castle. Rt 9 continues to the left at the redlight at S Ferry Cutoff, but you would continue straight into the town of Olde New Castle. I can't remember if it is Sixth Street or Delaware Street, but it is the main street in the quaint little town. You pass the post office on the left, library on the right, courthouse on the left and then continue straight to the water and park on the wharf. The pier is just to the left. Maybe someone else can add some specifics.

correction, the pier is to the right--but if you get that far, you can't miss it.
