My father in law has been in the hospital for almost 2 weeks now. After an Angiogream they discovered he needed a triple bypass. Problem was that the dye used during that procedure sent his kidney function further out of wack then usual. So the kidney specialist & cardiologist agreed to wait to see if they could get the levels down to a more stable level before the heart surgery. Well they seem to be hovering around 4 (should be 1.5...) so they are going to go ahead with the heart surgery Monday... I am nervous I guess that is why I can't sleep tonight. He is not in the best of health, kidney problems, diabetes, aputations from the diabetes.... I just pray that he gets through this surgery and has a chance to live a healthier life with the bypass. The surgery is supposed o be at 10 am tomorrow morning, I'm leaving around 7 to go pick up my mother & law & head over to Christiana. So, if you would keep him in your thoughts I'd appreciate it. I pray for him - although he is Pagan & I am not honestly sure who he prays to - I figure if we all look to whatever it is we believe in - that would be good. Thanks Guys

Lord, we lift Kathy's father to you this day. You are the Lord our healer. You died that we might live, and live eternally. We thank you, Lord, for those you have called to be healers. We thank you for their dedication and their strength. We ask that you release your angels, Lord, to surround Kathy, her family, and the physicians you have positioned to help her father. Strengthen them all and prepare them for the healing to come. Infuse them with hope and an expectation of healing. Guide the hands and the minds of the medical staff as they minister to him during this time of illness. Release your healing balm, Lord. Restore this man to good health so that he may continue to bless his family. We ask this in Your Holy name. Amen.
