Just had to share with someone

My son, who is 12, went away to the shore this past w/end with a friend. Now this is a kid who is pretty much interested in himself, he's a wonderful son and great kid, but I didn't think he paid much attention to things that didn't affect him.. well, he just got home and had bought me a little tea bag holder with seashells on it (I love the beach).. then, he proceeded to tell me that he had looked in all the candy shops for chocolate made with splenda for me, but he couldnt' find any. ... awwwwwww... I was so touched

Tina, Thats a great heart-warming story! Never underestimate the power of a child! lol It's obvious that he has been affected by your surgery. It seems like, for a 12 year old, he has his head on pretty straight! great job! -Joe-

He is a sweetie and I hope you pulled him away from his friends before you gave him that big, big kiss I know you wanted to give him. Sometimes pre-adolecents can be quite trying and times like this are golden as they reassure us that we have done an excellent job afterall.

AAWWWW, That is so sweet. He is a such a nice young man. I had the strawberry mousse with Splenda and it was yummy. (From the new low carb store in Chadds Ford.) Had fun Sunday. We'll do it again. Still without my PC. Called about it today. Not home now to get the call back. ((HUGS)) Elissa
