How is Mel H.?

Anyone hear anymore about Mel? Wonder if she is still in the hospital. If anyone knows, please update.

This is Mel's husband. Mel was re-admitted to the hospital last Monday. She was very de-hydrated so they started giving her fluids through an IV. On the day she was suppose to go home she became very ill, she was sent to ICU. She had developed an infection in her PIC line which caused her to run a temperature of 104. They removed the pic line and fed her anitbiotics and was able to get rid of the infection. She was extremely ill but with the temperature gone and her body re-hydrated she is now out of ICU and is starting to return to her old self. Today she is walking a bit more and drinking water. I am hopeful that she will be home in a day or two.

Oh my goodness, she has had a rough time. Glad she's getting better and I will keep her in my thoughts. Thanks for posting and please post again in a day or so with her progress.
