Computer is fried!

Hi friends, I just returned from a terrific Florida vacation to find that my hard drive is toast! I'm waiting on a part from Dell. I'm totally lost without my computer. I miss you guys! Hopefully I will be back in action towards the end of the week. Take care! Deb

Hi Debbie, How was Florida? Hope you had an awesome time. Missed you. Dell is pretty quick usually. You'll have to reload all your personal stuff though. Hope you had backups of everything. My PC is at Comp USA now getting a 301 keyboard error fixed. Then I have to make a decision about AOL, Norton's Anti-virus & Firewall and McAffee's. Seems that AOL & McAffee has a new partership going. When I updated Norton's last week it conflicted with AOL 9.0 Couldn't get on the internet any longer. I had to use an older version of AOL, cept that now my PC was locking up. The old catch 22. Not my problem. I'll post just in case anyone else might encounter this problem. I should have my puter back by end of week. Glad to see you back. ((HUGS)) Elissa
