YMCA membership

Does anyone belong to the Y on Garden of Eden Road. Off Concord Pike. I want to find out if this would be a good place to join. I went for a vist and the facilities looked great. The enrollment is $50.00 and only $40.00 a month. You can canel with 10 days notice. They have 2 indoor pools and fitness equipment. They also have a personal trainer there for a fee to get you started. I would like to have an opinion from someone who is a member of this facility. Thanks

Hi, I don't belong to the Y although it is a lot closer to my house than my current gym in West Chester. Look up Laura Schofield, she is either director or manager there at the Y. Also check at the Y at the time when you think you would be using the facility. It may look nice at certain times, but then be overbooked at other times. I think that they have a good circuit and great cardio equipment. I remember my wife use to always complain about lap swimming. Too crowded. The JCC next door also has great facilities. Also check out the extra classes that they have available like spinning, kick boxing, cardio with barbells, etc. The more variety the more excited you will get about attending. One last thing, don't think about quitting, just think about going. It really helps
