Greetings from the Outer Banks!
Hey, gang! Just wanted to say hello from North Carolina. It's been five days of beautiful weather (well, there was a downpour this morning but it changed to blue skies and full sun by noon) and beautiful company (the whole extended fam).
Will be back on Sunday-- but I just missed getting on and saying hello.
Btw...hubby and I have decided to retire to either the state of North Carolina or Virginia after the kiddos are grown. We love it here! (But we will have to live in the mountains (the seasons and snow for me) and drive to the shore (for hubby). The best of both worlds.
Love ya guys!

Hey, Hope...
We are staying in Duck, but we were just at the Cape Hatteras lighthouse last night. We arrived at dusk and unfortunetly the lighthouse closed at 6:00 PM, so we didn't get to climb to the top. I believe that it is 248 steps but I could be wrong. Took some great pix, though!

You sound like a family member there Karen! We always go to the outer Banks... Although we havent this year or last My family is from the mountains of Virginia! I love both places as well. But I would DEFINITELY want to move to the outer banks. In fact I always say that to my husband. I wouldnt even care about the quiet winters!!! Im sure you dont want to come back to ol' delaware! Glad you are having fun!

Hey babe - I bet it is beautiful there. I've never been to that part of NC but I've heard it is awsome. I'd live in the mountains too - avoid the worst of the hurricanes, you know. My best friends mom is right on the coast in Wilm., NC and it is beautiful - but man - storm damage is rough.
Any way - love you and have a fun & safe rest of yoru trip!
