Hi Gail, Yep, I have used it and don't know of a generic. It consists of 14 days of meds. You take 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening. The four pills are 1 Prevacid, 1 Biaxin, and 2 Trimox. LOL all I can say is be darn glad they got yours as a pre-op and not post. I didn't get my positive H-Pylori DX bac****il AFTER surgery and I had to choke all that stuff down as a newbie post-op ...eeeek! lol My insurance paid for mine. You don't have a prescription plan? Remember, you will be required to take a script for Actigall for six months after surgery, that one does come in a generic form tho ( just wanted you to be aware of that incase getting prescriptions were a problem ) The heavy dose of antibiotics in the PrevPack can cause a yeast infection, however a script for Diflucan fixed that right up. That's the only problem I had with it other than having to be VERY creative in being able to swallow all that crap twice a day with my new baby tummy. Linda
