Ulcers....Dr Wynn was correct

Hello All, As Joe posted for me earlier my EDG showed an ulcer in my pouch and several in my small intestines. Dr Wynn was correct and I was wrong. Good thing is I now don't require surgery as of yet. I have to go for an upp GI this Friday to make sure the acid causing the ulcers isn't from a connection between the old and new stomach. I have to return for another EGD in 8 weeks to see how the meds are working. I am taking Carafate liquid 4 times a day and Zantac twice a day. Dr Wynn actually had me start on them Last Friday. My throat is soar right now but nothing I can't deal with. Thanks for all your comforting words on my previous posts!! Thank you joe for updating for me!! Peace~~~ Hope

Hope the medicines all do the trick & the upper Gi goes well Friday. I know what it is like to be that frustrated over the pain & not feeling well. Just try to take it easy & hopefully things will turn around soon.
