Cigna PPO....Pre-Cert testing :-S

I currently have Cigna PPO, I have already has my consult with Dr. Wynn, and only have 1 PRMI appointment and the EGD to go. I just received notification for Cigna that they wil not cover any of the pre-cert testing. I called Cigna and they opened a case number and will review it once all the per-cert appointments are completed. I just don't want to have a $3k medical bill for certification on a surgery that will never be approved. Any suggestions- input would be greatly appreciated!!
