Broke in a big way!
Well people it wasn't the way I wanted to get below 200 pounds, but I'm there now. In fact this morning I actually weighed in at 198. I spent most of May hovering between 202-205 so this was a big break-through. I also spent all day yesterday "dumping" and "re-dumping". Had a wonderful meal at Jasmine, a Vietnamese tray (basically just seasoned chicken). I guess it didn't agree with me, but I didn't find out till much later in the day when I had my protein shake, and then again when I drank some water, and then again when I had dinner, and then again (by now you should get the story). Anyway I did my final exit routine at mid-night and was finally able to get some sleep. Woke up this morning, had my concrete mix (oatmeal protein boost) and weighed in. Went over to get another blood test which should be interesting after yesterday's experience but I wanted to make sure that I got in the bloodwork prior to seeing Dr. Baag on Monday.
Anyway at 198 pounds I have now lost 142 pounds (more than Nicki probably weighs) since I started this process. With 88 pounds more to go, I mean 23-28 pounds more to go I can begin to see the light.
Glad to be less of a man. Rob
3 Cheers for Rob. Congratulations on the 198. Hope it wasn't food poisoning. After tommorow's 25 mile Bike-a-thon you should be down a couple more lbs. I don't think I'll ever do the Vietnamese if you have continuous dumping, at least not right now, Thank you. Did you have blood test before or after oatmeal? I usually go at 5:30AM cause I'm up and to beat all the old people. Otherwise I'm there for an hour plus. Keep up the great job. You're the #1 stud muffin with Ken coming in 2nd. Clint if you are out there let us know how you are too!!!!! Elissa
Dr. Baag actually specifies that non-fasting is preferred for the blood test so I scarfed down the cement before giving up the blood. I go about 8:30am because all of the fasting people are done and gone. No problems today. Can't wait to get at that bike. I wonder if they make a helmet big enough for a head.

Hi Rob,
Congrats on breaking the 200 mark, your progress has been amazing! Sorry to hear about the dumping incident. My pouchy has been a bit on the finicky side this last week but no marathon dumpings like yours. I hope your appt with Dr. Baag goes well, make sure you update after.
Yaaaay for you!
Linda
