I AM SO EXCITED....I GO ON JUNE 28TH FOR THE FILTER AND JUNE 29TH FOR MY SURGERY. I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL YOUR INFORMATION, YOU HAVE ALL HELPED ME SO MUCH. THANKS!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS BIG TIME! I just found out last week that my surgery will be on 8/2. Kind of a possibly dumb question, "What is the filter?" I've seen it before in posts but no one at the surgeon's office mentioned it to me?

THE FILTER IS TO HELP PREVENT BLOOD CLOTS. I AM HAVING OPEN AND I DON'T KNOW IF THEY DO IT WITH LA*****T.

I was just wondering, from earlier posts you will see I am the resident "worrier" about everything. I promise to TRY to not drive you all insane with my questions.
I had the filter today .. you have to lay on your back for 6 to 4 hours and you are a little sore but still nothing compared to staying fat "Smile" ... we aced being over weight we can ace this easy..my surgery is monday...
